Green Nightclub in NYC

I couldn’t find any photos, but apparently it’s been open for a minute.   I found the info at GoodCleanTech

Greenhouse club and lounge, located at 150 Varick Street in Manhattan’s hip SoHo district, could soon become the ultimate nightlife destination for those who want to party the green style. The unique venue comes with the EPA-designed water distribution system and even features Biodegradable Liquid Body Cleanser developed in partnership with Brad Pitt. The floors are made of bamboo, the glass is recycled, and the lights are naturally LED. In fact, the 6,000 square foot compound became the first eco-friendly event space to be registered with L.E.E.D.

“Green living has become a way of life for many people and especially for New Yorkers,” says Jon B., owner of Greenhouse. “We are proud to be the first ones to create an event space that will merge nightlife with positive steps towards addressing global concerns, and hope that eventually others will be encouraged to follow in our foot steps.”

Greenhouse has already staged a number of high-profile events both in the United States and abroad, including the Sundance Film Festival, Paris Fashion Week, Cannes Film Festival, and the Toronto International Film Festival. These exclusive fêtes included celebrity guests like U2, Al Gore, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, Bruce Willis, Jodie Foster, Felicity Huffman, Mary-Kate Olsen, Colin Ferrell, Michael Keaton, Steven Soderbergh and Benicio Del Toro.
